Warner Bros. Studio Tour Opens Dobby Exhibit
The Warner Brothers Studio Tour London will open a new exhibit focused on Dobby, everyone’s favorite house elf. The exhibit will allow guests to go behind the scenes showing how the special effects team brought Dobby to life for the films. Yes, he was CGI, but not all of him. An intricate model of the elf was created for the actors to interact with. The model will be moved to a more prominent area of the studio tour to give guests a closer look.
In addition, the exhibit will also feature the studios first interactive motion capture experience. Tour guests will be able to control Dobby’s movements in real-time on three screens showing him in different stages of motion capture from an initial wireframe to the fully-rendered Dobby.
The special exhibit will run from February 4th – March 31st, 2017.

Nighttime Show Rumored to Come to Wizarding World of Harry Potter Parks
Sources at Universal are rumored to be developing a nighttime show similar to Disney’s Frozen-themed show. Much like the VIP opening night for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Hollywood held in 2016, the show will feature fireworks as well as movie clips and projected images onto the Hogwarts castle. The show will take place at both US theme park locations, no word on whether it will also appear at Universal Studios Japan. Universal is expected to officially announce the show at the 2017 Harry Potter Celebration held in Orlando later this month.
