Today we wanted to introduce you to a group that’s very special to us, the Hogwarts Running Club

The Hogwarts Running Club is a 501c3 organization that does #somuchgood raising money for charities by hosting virtual running events. This year alone the group has raised $470,000 with projections to reach $1,000,000 after the completion of their Time Turner event.

The running events have amazing Harry Potter themes. In the past there has been such runs as the Patronus 5k, Half Blood Prince Half Marathon, and Voldemort V-Miler, among many others including an annual Platform 9 ¾k run!

Proceeds from your race registration and t-shirt purchases go to a charity that is specified for each event. Along with your registration you get an awesome medal!

The medals are amazing, but the greatest thing about the Hogwarts Running Club is the community it’s built online. It’s absolutely free to join and the support is phenomenal. Races are run at your own pace and are open to all ages and fitness levels. Whether you’re just starting your running journey or are a seasoned marathoner, the members of HRC will be there to support you and cheer you on!

If you’re interested in finding out more or joining the group, be sure to like the Hogwarts Running Club on Facebook and join the Great Hall.

Enjoy a little house rivalry? Hogwarts Running Club also has a common room group for each of the 4 houses. Be sure to join your house’s common room! The house cup is awarded to each year to the house with the most points! Information about the cup and your common room can be found in the great hall upon joining.

If you’re not sure of your house, you can find out if you’re a lion, snake, badger, or eagle on Pottermore.
