As my love from Harry Potter has now carried with me to my young adulthood, it’s time to start enjoying Harry Potter adult things.

What exactly does this mean? It makes taking a beloved Harry Potter drink, pumpkin juice, and adding a little vodka to it. Harry Potter alcoholic beverages?! Sign me up!

This weekend is New Year’s Eve and this Harry Potter cocktail is a great addition to any Harry Potter party. Hell, it’s even great for muggle parties too! If your muggle friends like pumpkin spice and PSLs, they surely will enjoy this Harry Potter cocktail.

We think this Harry Potter cocktail is Three Broomsticks approved. I can just imagine Horace Slughorn gulping down alcoholic pumpkin juice on one of nights of debauchery.

We’d all love to be as wastey as Slughorn this weekend, so let’s get to it…

  1. 3 cups apple cider
  2. 1 cup pumpkin puree
  3. 1/3 cup sugar
  4. cinnamon sticks
  5. 2/3 cup vodka
  1. Combine apple cider, pumpkin puree, sugar, and cinnamon sticks in a pot and bring to a boil
  2. Reduce heat to medium high and allow the contents to cook for 10-15 minutes
  3. Let the mixture cool completely before adding vodka
