I’m back with my first recipe since Christmas when I made sorting hat Christmas cookies! I’m currently in Boulder, Colorado where my friends were nice enough to let me use their kitchen to create this frozen butterbeer recipe. Currently, I’m travelling the country full time and making recipes in a camper van is just a little difficult 😂 I do plan on doing more soon so drop a comment below and let me know what you’d like to see!
For my first recipe in awhile, I decided to do something butterbeer related. Butterbeer is my absolute favorite and I was reminiscing about my favorite recipe to date, my butterbeer pancakes, so I decided to attempt to recreate my favorite Wizarding World treat- frozen butterbeer. 🍺
If you make your own, be sure to snap some photos and upload them to Instagram with the hashtag #simplypotter to be featured on my Instagram stories for Feature Friday!
⚡The longer you can freeze your cream soda, the less like a slushie your frozen butterbeer will be. I like mine a little slushie, so I froze mine for about 5 hours.
⚡After blending, test out your cream soda before adding the butter and rum extracts. If you want it a bit sweeter, splash in some extra cream soda.
1-2 cans of cream soda
3/4 tsp butter extract
1/2 tsp rum extract
1. Freeze cream soda in ice tray for 5 hours
2. Blend frozen cream soda cubes
3. Splash in some extra cream soda
4. Add 3/4 tsp of butter extract
5. Add 1/2 tsp of rum extract
6. Blend together
7. Top with whipped cream
